Classic Bike & Tattoo Show
The 8th Classic Bike & Tattoo show of
Laval, in the Montreal region, was held
on April 20, 21 and 22.
This is the biggest indoor custom bike show
in Canada where bike and tattoo fanatics
can meet in a friendly and energetic ambiance.
The show features a total of 160
booths and more than 150 customized
bikes.
This year, the Classic Bike & Tattoo Show
was host to the Eastern Canadian Championship
of Bike Building. The winner of this
competition was Classic Steel
(Congratulations guys. Great bike!). They will
be representing Eastern Canada at the next
event of the Canadian Championship of
Bike Building in Calgary, Alberta.
Laconia Bike Week
It’s more than a T-shirt!
No matter where you are in New Hampshire, there’s always a national
park close by. The roads, the rolling hills, the lakes, the forests all make
us want to ride with or without a helmet. Being in Eastern Canada we
are privileged to be close to this event.
Since 1923, Laconia is the June Rendez-Vous. It’s the oldest and it’s
one of the biggest biker gatherings of all. Year after year 375,000
peoples attend the event that took place from June 9 to 17.
There are more and more tourist attractions in the region. The organizers
try to spread out the activities outside of Weirs Beach to accommodate
the growing crowds.

AMD, Canadian Championship of Bike Building
The exhibition took place in an agricultural center (Olds Agricultural Fair Grounds) where existing buildings were
turned into stalls and exposition booths for the competition of the 20 some odd bikes owned by riders that came from
all across the country. The event’s affiliation with the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike
Building allows the Canadian champion to compete with the best builders in the world.
The temperature was perfect for the event which for the most part was held outdoor. Unfortunately
the turnout was less than anticipated and after having visited the whole exhibition, there wasn’t much
action to keep you entertained. There was however plenty of interesting people to meet and discuss
with, like Alberta’s Kuhl’s Customs, Poorboyz Chopperz, Precision Frameworkx,
