Grease Monkey Block Party
April 28, 1949 – August 30, 2004. Indian
Larry marked the motorcycle industry
with his original creations. He was in a
class of his own with his incredible metal
sculpting talent and unique building
style which was inspired by the sixties.
His creations were not influenced by the
industry’s style or latest trends, and his
bikes are still easily recognizable today.
I met Indian Larry way before the Bobber craze, and before he was
renowned. When I noticed him with his 70’s “die-hard” look and old
style custom bike, I had no idea who he was or where he came from.
However, while speaking with him I realized that he was very modest,
genuine, and down to earth!
After his death, his right hand builders Paul Cox and Keino assured the

Wharf Rat Rally
Digby, Nova Scotia, home of the World Famous
Scallop and Atlantic Canada’s Fastest Growing
Bike Rally. On Labour Day weekend, Digby’s
Wharf Rat Rally is the place to be. You’ll be aghast
by the magnitude of this rendez-vous, and the vast
array of activities.
Peter Robertson, a Digby merchant and citizen, is
responsible for the kick-off of the Wharf Rat Rally.
Peter, while at his annual trip to the Laconia Bike
Week, noticed the similarities between New
Hampshire and Nova Scotia, which triggered the
idea. So he recruited help and along with 50
volunteers, organized the Wharf Rat Rally. It was a
great challenge to take on a Labour Day Weekend
event, given the fact that no other activity of the
sort is held in this region. A committee of nine
people met every Tuesday of every week for a
year, to make this event the...

Quebec Vintage Motorcycles

For the occasion, the bike owners give their motorcycles
