Sturgis North
A brand new event took place this summer:
Sturgis North. The name may remind you of
that mega rally that has taken place every
August for the past seventy one years out in
South Dakota. The Sturgis North rally took
place in Canada specifically in Salmon Arm,
a small town in British Columbia, 45 minutes
from Kelowna and halfway between Vancouver
and Calgary.
The organizers were influenced by their older
sister in the United States and presented a
number of activities scattered in and around
the city. It was impossible to twiddle your
thumbs, not knowing what to do. All you needed
was to read the busy event schedule then
decide which activity or ride to choose.

“The Biggest, Baddest, Wildest Rodeo Motorcycle
Tour in America”. “The Best Motorcycle
Action & Party You Have Ever Seen”. That’s how

of 22,193, Chillicothe, Ohio is a city rich in history. Located in
southern Ohio along the Scioto River, the city is surrounded by
a farming community and pulp and paper plants.
After working on my bike all night in my garage and sleeping
only four hours, it was now time for me to hit the road if I did
not want to miss the party! Once my backpack was strapped
to my tank (with a crumpled map indicating my route), a
coffee and a donut, off I was! Note to self: Always make sure
that the excess of backpack straps are nice and tight and don’t...
