Disturbed
Radikal Conception, builder of Disturbed
Pik is the owner of a custom paint shop in
Gatineau QC. Almost 10 years ago he met
Alain “Big Al’ Michaud. He realized this
wasn’t simply a meeting for a paint job but
the beginning of a beautiful relationship.
Customizing bikes is Big Al’s favorite
pastime. As Pik says, Big Al’s attention to
detail and his obsession with a clean job
distinguishes him from the other builders.
These two fanatics of customizing speak
constantly of different projects. One day
Alain proposed to Pik to build him a
completely radical machine, worthy of the
greats.
In January 2006, Pik buys a HD Softail
1994. It’s on this machine that Big Al
begins the project which Pik christened
“Disturbed”. More than 500 hours are
required to build the frame, swing arm,
gas tank, fenders and bars. Alain hands
over the future custom to Pik so he
can work his magic. He get to work...
Scorpion
CMR, builder of Scorpion
During the 80’s Bernard Sr. concentrated on the wholesale and the mail order side of the business and expanded to a new warehouse
in 1987. CMR continued to grow and sales increased all across Canada. The once famous garage was forgotten.
In the 90’s CMR evolved again with the arrival of the son Bernard Jr. who took an interest in mechanics, customizing and performance
engine work and started his career in Drag racing at 18 years old. He raced every weekend for 4 years, gaining the knowledge
he now applies in his work.
Fifteen later, Bernard Jr. has put the CMR garage back on top with a newly renovated
4000 sq. feet garage, Dyno test facility and modern machine shop, sheet metal and
frame modification area. CMR’s Service Department can handle anything, any job from
tire changes on the new Coats 200ex tire machine to a complete custom made wiring
job. Harleys of any year or model are welcome.
